About the Herbal CSA

The Mountain Thyme Hollow herbal CSA model offers both pre-made herbal products as well as fresh and dried herbs that have been grown on our farm. Each monthly box will also include recipes for learning how to make products at home.

Our CSA is great for those who wish to build their at-home apothecary, while also supporting their local farmer. The information will be helpful for a beginner who is interested in incorporating herbs into their daily health regimen, as well as for the budding herbalist who wishes to learn new techniques and recipes to put in their repertoire. Each share box will include 5–7 items, as well as recipes and herb profile information.

Dates:
Our CSA runs from June through October for a total of 5 share pickups. Pick-ups are on the first Wednesday of the month at our Farmstand, located in the Fourth Street area, or for an additional $50 per season local delivery is available on Thursdays.

Cost:
Full Share $225 per season
Free to pick up, $50 per season for delivery

• August 4th
• September 8th
• October 6th

Example of a monthly share may include:

• 1-2 Organically grown, farm-fresh herbs (1/2-1 pound of plant matter)
• 1 oz Organically grown dried herb
• 1 oz Herbal salve
• 2 oz Dried tea blend
• 1 oz Herbal culinary salt
• 1 oz Herbal infused culinary oil

All products are handmade in small batches with ingredients grown on our farm using organic practices.
